Love and fifty Megatons - Short Film
A huge project I was able to be a small part of. "Love and fifty Megatons" is a massive VFX short film project realized by a huge team from the animation institute and the film academy. Under the supervision of Denis Krez and the Production of Josephine Roß I learned some invaluable lessons about Houdini Pyro Simulations. I was also helped out with some tips and pipeline tools for the Previz.

One full simulation - Using Houdinis Wedges and the Animation Institutes Renderfarm I quickly generated alot of variations
Raw Rendering - Lots of lighting and look was done in compositing using the render passes
Four different versions with varying ammounts of smoke - just one of many parameters to tweak

All the big work here was done by Denis Krez but I was able to help him with the Grass Scattering and Rendering.
Lastly I supported Denis with a little Script - It allowed him to very easily control and render all the different cameras he used for the previz of the entire film
